«Школой гордились! В школе всегда что-то было. Пионерские отряды, ходили помогали бабкам, как Гайдар-то подписал. Кружки у нас были: рукодельный кружок (вышивали), потом художественный, столярная мастерская была. Девки – и то скворечники делали, табуретки делали»

“We were proud of the school! The school was always a center of social life. There were pioneer groups, and we helped elderly women, just like in the book by Arkady Gaidar. We had some interest clubs: a handicraft club (embroidering), a drawing studio, and a carpentry workshop. Even the girls made bird houses and stools”

“We played ‘square’ with a ball: when players on two teams are standing opposite each other and running and trying to hit the opponents with the ball. I believe nowadays it is called ‘dodgeball’, but we used to call it ‘square’. It was one of the games we played. Also, there was a volleyball net stretched near the school, there were the stairs, and there was a wooden log where we used to play”

«У нас школа была – 100 с лишним человек в школе было! Это же много! А это сейчас никого нет. Мы пошли в 8 класс, здесь школу закрыли, семилетку, это был 64-й год, наверное. Закрыли здесь школу, стало 4 класса. Жили в Кянде, в интернате, в Кянде был интернат»
